A New Year, A New Beginning

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to start by saying hello to all the new faces that I will hopefully be seeing in the year to come. And to the old faces, I hope you like the changes I am making.

We have started this new year off with rearranging some of our officers:
President: Cole Willis
VP: Lynn Ellis
Secretary: Victoria Alizabeth
Tresurer: Sharlissa Truett

I have also taken over the blog, and I promise to update at least once a week, hopefully more.

Now, on  to some actual business, This Saturday, Lynn will be leading a Blot at the UU Church at 9:30 pm.

Blot (pronounced Bloat) is a celebratory Asatru ritual of drinking and sacrificing to the Norse Gods. The word Blot is derrived from the Norse words "blood" and "sacrifice". The primary function of this ritual is that a gift demands a gift.  The last of the mead is poured out as a gift to the Gods, and in turn, they bless the participants of the ritual.

We of course, are celebrating both the continuation of the club, as well as the transition of leadership.
